Sumračno more što nemaše dna,
Pod strunama pleše nezavisnaja;
Mladeži zlatna, u zlatan si čas
Svih ruku pokritih u krvi rođen pas

S juga na sever preliven je Don
I silna je gora - silan je Hton;
Zlatnom je sabljom lav stezao grad
A sumračnom niti rezao si vrat

Ne možemo van - svuda su oko nas!
Osmeh zlatom sija junak dok govori
na paradi...

A bottomless sea with murk and twilight filled,
Independent is the dancer hung on strings;

To be the noble cutthroats, mongrels born in blood
